Paula Thompson
Director | Podiatrist
Paula is committed to improving the lives of people in our community through a combination of treatment and education, providing the tools they need to enhance their lower limb health and general well-being. Paula is experienced in all aspects of podiatry and provides nothing less than top-quality care to her patients.
Her dual role as both a business owner and a treating podiatrist allows her to maintain a comprehensive perspective on the needs and dynamics of the practice and our patients. Footsteps Podiatry is about much more than just treating patients. Paula is motivated to make a difference in the Podiatry industry and the broader community. She leads a team of passionate individuals who are enthusiastic about setting a new benchmark for podiatric health, fostering a supportive professional environment where staff and patients feel comfortable and empowered.
Paula is a born and bred Albury/Wodonga local and completed her studies at Charles Sturt University in Albury. In her spare time, you will find Paula at the gym or dancing her way across the country, competing in New Vogue dance championships. Paula and her partner, Drew, love spending time with their friends, family, and their dog, or making the most of the restaurants and cafes in our region.
Catherine Quonoey

Catherine is a dedicated podiatrist with over 10 years of experience. Driven by the satisfaction of seeing her treatments improve patients' everyday lives. She enjoys building rapport with patients and assisting them across all areas of podiatric care. Catherine enjoys treating stubborn conditions and skin concerns, ensuring every patient receives comprehensive and compassionate care.
When she's not in the clinic, Catherine loves spending time on the farm with her husband and their two young daughters.
She keeps active with pilates and running and has recently embarked on learning Auslan. Originally from Tamworth, NSW, she pursued her passion for podiatry at Charles Sturt University in Albury.
Catherine's positive nature and friendly face are a welcome fixture in our Lavington clinic. Catherine's patients experience the difference in expert, personalised and professional care.
Jessica Barton

Jess combines her extensive podiatric knowledge with a genuine passion for delivering exceptional care, ensuring her patients always receive the treatment they deserve. Jess approaches every patient with a gentle hand and a warm smile. She enjoys treating wounds, providing meticulous nail care, and managing diabetic foot conditions. Her commitment to learning continually drives her to expand her already vast knowledge base.
Having grown up in Mt Beauty and completed her studies at Charles Sturt University in Albury, Jess has a deep connection to the region and a strong commitment to her community. She is an invaluable member of the Kiewa Sandy Creek Football and Netball Club and enjoys running and keeping active outdoors. Outside of work and sport, Jess trades the podiatry instruments for paintbrushes, expressing her creativity as a mixed media artist.

Milly Murphy-Dale

Milly joined Footsteps Podiatry in 2023. Her caring, bubbly personality combined with her proficiency in podiatric care quickly cemented her place as a valuable member of our team. She loves the variety of cases that come her way and enjoys seeing people of all ages. Milly delights in seeing positive treatment outcomes, especially in dermatological and musculoskeletal conditions. She is dedicated to providing top-notch care and making each visit a positive experience.
Outside of work, she loves being outdoors, spending time with friends and family, and caring for her two cute little sausage dogs. Growing up in Myrtleford, VIC, Milly pursued her passion for helping people by completing her podiatry studies at Charles Sturt University in Albury.

Sarah Chandler

Sarah has been dedicated to podiatry since she began practising in 2016. She brings a wealth of knowledge and years of experience to Footsteps Podiatry. She loves the variation in her work, appreciating that everyone has a different story and no two feet are the same. Sarah finds great satisfaction in seeing her patients walk out in a better state, whether it’s after multiple visits of working through an injury or the instant comfort achieved by routine care. She enjoys everything from routine foot care to biomechanical cases, providing thorough and personalised care to all her patients.
Outside of work, Sarah loves spending time with her husband and two dogs. She enjoys playing tennis, reading, cooking, gardening, travelling, and attending music concerts. Growing up in the small town of Elmore, VIC, she relocated to Albury to study at Charles Sturt University. Inspired to pursue podiatry after another podiatrist showed her how important our feet are to our overall health.
Sarah is passionate about helping people achieve their best foot health. Her patients step out in confidence knowing they're receiving expert podiatric care.
Simone Hocking

Simone began her career in podiatry in 1993 after completing her degree at the Lincoln Institute of Health, La Trobe University. She loves getting to know her patients and helping each individual towards their goals. Simone takes particular pride in her care for our elderly clients; helping to keep them as strong and independent as possible through providing quality podiatric care. With such extensive experience, Simone is a pro at all foot care treatments. She continually strives to learn more and keep up to date with the latest research and new treatment options for her patients.
Simone is an accomplished netball umpire, currently involved in the North East Netball Academy. She plays a vital role in mentoring and providing support to the young netballers and umpires in our region. Simone and her husband have two very busy teenagers who also enjoy an active lifestyle - meaning lots of car trips in the 'Muber' (Mum's Uber)! But she wouldn't have it any other way.
Based in our Beechworth clinic, Simone's positive nature is contagious. Her patients experience professional podiatric care delivered with kindness.
Kasey Wood

You may have been welcomed by Kasey in reception or heard her friendly voice over the phone. An integral member of the Footsteps team, Kasey is one of our administration superstars who helps to keep things running smoothly.
Hailing from Tallangatta, Kasey is an outdoors kind of gal with a down-to-earth nature. She enjoys exploring the local area, soaking up the sunshine, cheering on local footy and netball, and spending quality time with friends and family. In addition to her role with us, Kasey is currently studying psychology. We admire her dedication to learning and her drive to excel in everything she sets her mind to.
Kasey brings a refreshing blend of professionalism and warmth to her work. Whether she’s welcoming patients, managing appointments, or assisting with inquiries, her efficiency and attention to detail never goes unnoticed.

In her spare time, Lisa enjoys spending quality time with her family. She especially loves spoiling her grandson. She also enjoys travelling, indulging in good food, and savouring fine wine.

Lisa is integral to the smooth running of our accounts and administration, bringing extensive experience in business to the table. Her attention to detail and positive attitude are evident in every task she sets her mind to.
When she's not working on our accounts, Lisa indulges her creative side by designing and creating ballroom gowns - a hobby that showcases her exceptional talent and craftsmanship. Lisa also loves travelling, catching up with friends, and spending quality time with her husband, their two children, and their dogs.
Although she may not always be in the spotlight, Lisa’s expertise and dedication make her an invaluable and appreciated member of our team.
Sarah O'Keeffe
Head of Operations
As our Head of Operations, Sarah brings a wealth of experience and expertise in streamlining processes and optimising efficiency. Sarah has developed a passion for improving patient outcomes. Her primary focus is on creating a seamless patient experience from appointment scheduling to post-treatment follow-up.
She embraces a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement within our team. She works closely with our clinical and administration teams to optimise processes and maintain compliance with industry regulations.
Outside of work, Sarah is an accomplished artist who works mostly with acrylic paints, creating original artworks & fine art prints. You might also catch her on the local netball courts, at the gym, or on a run. She enjoys staying active and spending time with her husband and their two dogs, Rex & Nelson.
